CitroPlus® 1200 forte grapefruit seed extract: bioflavonoids galore!
Our grapefruit seed extract CitroPlus® 1200 forte is obtained from the seeds and peel of organically grown grapefruits. Gentle extraction using a biocompliant process provides a reliably high content of valuable bioflavonoids. These belong to the so-called secondary plant substances from which plants benefit in several ways: On the one hand, flavonoids (Latin flavus = yellow) give the flowers an attractive color for pollinators, on the other hand, they offer protection against predators and UV radiation. Well-known bioflavonoids include hesperidin, naringin, rutin and quercetin.
With a total flavonoid content of 1200 mg per 100 ml, the product has an exceptionally high dosage.
Bioflavonoids also fulfill a variety of functions in the human organism.
